Richmond United Methodist Church Ministries
Since 1872 we are well known for our small country church hospitality where members take time to know and care for each other in fellowship with Christ. Ministries of Richmond UMC focus on the care and fellowship of its members with an open invitation to any person and family seeking the care and support of a church family.
W.A.R.M. - Whitewater Area Regional Ministry
Richmond United Methodist Church is a member of a three-church five congregation consortium - First United Methodist Church in Whitewater, La Grange United Methodist Church, and Richmond United Methodist Church, Christo la Roca Ministerio Methodista Unida, and UW-Whitewater United Methodist Ministry. Sharing administrative services and clergy allows each congregation the flexibility to serve each indivudual congregation more effectively while offering a wide range of adult and youth ministry opportunities.
Community Outreach Ministries
Richmond United Methodist Church supports local non-profit ecumenical ministries which focuses on meeting the basic needs of struggling individuals and families. Support is directed to the agencies include volunteering, collection and distribution of goods and supplies, and financial support appropriate to their missions.
Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church
Many ministry and mission opportunities are available through the Wisconsin Conference of United Methodist Church (WCUMC). Headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. The WCUMC operates as a confederation of the local congregations, serves as the governing body, appoints clergy who are member of the Annual Conference to serve local congregations.
UMCOR - United Methodist Committee on Relief
UMCOR is the not-for-profit global humanitarian aid organization of the United Methodist Church working in more than 80 countries worldwide, including the United States. Our mission, grounded in the teachings of Jesus, is to alleviate human suffering—whether caused by war, conflict or natural disaster. UMCOR's domestic and global programs focus areas include Disaster Response, Hunger, and Immigration and Refugee needs.
